 Porch-Stribling-Webb originated in January of 1954, when D. Scott Porch, Jr. opened Best Insurance Agency as a supplement to his law practice. In 1971, Best Insurance Agency and Waverly Insurance Agency merged, keeping the Waverly Insurance name. Dave Porch joined the Waverly Insurance staff in 1976, and soon to follow in 1981 was J.V. Stribling.
Also in 1976, Bill and Larry Webb purchased the Napier Insurance Agency, becomming Webb Insurance Agency. In May of 1993, Waverly Insurance and Webb Insurance merged and became Porch-Stribling-Webb, Inc.
In 1993, PSW opened up a branch location in Camden, TN which is now managed by Joe Wright, a former County Executive of Benton County. In 2006, PSW bought the John E. Smith Insurance Agency, and thus began expansion in their current office. In 2009 PSW opened up a branch office in Lyles, TN, which is managed by John F. Porch.

 Davis S. Porch, III - President & CEO
Dave is the President & CEO of PSW. Dave is a 4th generation resident of Waverly, and is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1972) and Middle Tennessee State University (1976). He began his career in the insurance business in 1976. He gained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1980. Dave has been heavily involved in the Insurors of Tennessee. Throughout his career, Dave has served as a member of the Board of Directors as well as President of the Association in 1998. Dave has also served as Tennessee's delegate to the National Association's Board of Directors since 2004. Dave served as the Chairman of the Humphreys County School Board from 1994-2000 as well as a member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Humphreys County. He and his wife Melissa are members of the Waverly United Methodist Church where he serves as the Chair for the Committee on Finance. Dave and Melissa have three grown sons, Scott (Amy), Andy (Kara) and Taylor (Rebecca). They also have three grand-children, Kennedy, Sawyer and Andrew. Dave spends his spare time either with his grand-children or house-boating. |
 Andrew D. Porch - Chief Operating Officer
Andy is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1995) and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (1999) where he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance. After graduation he moved to Cincinnati, OH and worked for Cincinnati Insurance Company as a commercial lines underwriter for three years. In 2002, he moved back to Waverly and joined the agency as an all-lines producer with a specialty in commercial insurance. In 2003 Andy was honored as the Young Agent of the Year from the Insurors of Tennessee and in 2004 he served as the Chairman of the Young Agent Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors for the Insurors of Tennessee. Andy received his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2005 and became one of the owners of the agency in 2006. Andy and his wife Kara have two children, Kennedy and Andrew, and his leisure activities include golf, college football, and relaxing with family and friends. Andy currently serves on the Trustees Committee for the Waverly United Methodist Church as well as staying involved with the United Way of Humphreys County. |
 J.V. Stribling, Jr. - Sr. Vice President of Personal Lines
J.V. is a lifelong resident of Waverly and began his career in the insurance industry in 1983 working for Waverly Insurance. In 1986 he purchased interest in the agency from the late Harold Anderson. In 1993, he became partners with Dave Porch, Larry and Bill Webb in what is currently PSW Insurance. J.V. served 10 years on the Humphreys County Board of Commissioners. He was a charter member and past president of the Waverly Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Fellow Award given by Rotary International. He also served 15 years on the Board of Directors of the Humphreys County Dixie League. J.V. is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1969). He and his wife Vicki have two grown children, Jennifer and Jake, and have recently become grandparents. In January, Jake's wife Mandy gave birth to Joshua and Julia. |
 Larry W. Webb - Sr. Vice President of Commercial Lines
Larry is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1970) and Middle Tennessee State University (1974). Larry began his career in the insurance industry in 1976 when he and his brother Bill started The Webb Agency in Waverly, TN. In 1993, The Webb Agency merged with the former Waverly Insurance to form the current PSW Insurance Agency. Larry services all lines of insurance, but focuses mainly on commercial lines. Larry and his wife Glenda are the proud parents of two boys, Kyle and Heath. Larry's hobbies include hunting and playing golf. |
 B. Taylor Porch - Vice President of Sales
Taylor is a 5th generation resident of Waverly. He is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (2000) and Cumberland University (2004) where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. While at Cumberland he was also a member of both the Men's Basketball and Men's Golf teams. After graduation, Taylor worked for Cincinnati Insurance Company as a commercial lines underwriter, until he moved back home in 2007. Taylor has served on the Board of Directors for both the Waverly Country Club and the United Way Allocations Committee. Taylor and his wife Rebecca have two children, Sawyer Davis and Sydney Morgan. In his spare time, Taylor enjoys playing golf, boating, relaxing with friends and family and cheering for The Vols! |
 Danny L. Baker - Sr. Producer
Danny is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1987), Columbia State Community College (1991) and Trevecca Nazarene University (2000). Danny became a licensed insurance producer in 2003. He has been a part of the PSW staff since 2006. Danny specializes in life and health insurance. He and his wife Andrea, have one son, Jackson. Their hobbies include running and playing tennis and they are both active members of the Tennessee Valley Road Runners. |
 John F. Porch - Producer/Manager (Lyles Office)
John was born and raised in Waverly, TN and is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1979) and Middle Tennessee State University(1985) where he double majored in Marketing and Insurance. John has worked for both Insurance Brokers and Companies, including ten years during which he managed a program for the Tennessee Hospital Association for its’ hospital membership. John joined PSW in 1996 as a producer and continues to focus on health care providers such as hospitals, clinics and physician groups as well as all types of commercial business. He opened PSW’s satellite office in Lyles, TN in 2009. John married his wife Christy in 2002 and they reside just outside of Lyles, TN where he enjoys hobby farming, hunting, fishing and classic cars. |

 Karen Hurt - Personal Lines Account Manager
Karen is a lifelong resident of Waverly and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1972) and Austin Peay State University (1976). She began her career working for Waverly Insurance in 1988. In 2006, Karen earned her Certified Insurance Service Represenative (CISR) designation. Karen and her husband Tim have two daughters, Karlee and Laura. In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time with her new grandson, Holton. |
 Anita Pruett - Personal Lines Account Manager
Anita is a native of Forest Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She moved here in 1997 with her husband Ron and two daughters Angela and Laura. She began working at PSW in 1997. Anita considers herself a true Southern Yankee and loves to spend time with her grandchildren in her spare time. |
 Jaquita Buchanan - Commercial Lines Account Manager
Jaquita is a lifelong resident of Waverly and a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1983). In 2006, Jaquita completed her Certified Insurance Service Represenative (CISR) designation. Jaquita and her husband Tim have two children, Christopher and Lacey. She is an active member of Friendship World Outreach. |
 Nikki D. Sain - Commercial Lines Account Manager
Nikki is a graduate of Waverly Central High School (1995) and Belmont University in Nashville, TN (1999) where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing. Nikki currently serves on the Women’s Ministry Council and High School Sunday School Teacher for the Waverly First Church of the Nazarene and is a member of the Buffalo FCE Club. Nikki and her husband Jason have two children, Brityn and Davis, and her leisure activities include boating, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. |
 Christy Porch - Account Manager - Lyles Office
Christy is a native of Nashville, TN where she was a graduate from Hunters Lane High School(1989). Christy has a wealth of knowledge from the Banking & Finance industry. She was the Assistant Vice President for both Capital Bank & Trust (98-06) and Tennessee Commerce Bank (06-07) before she began work for PSW. Christy is married to John, and in her spare time she enjoys working on her lavendar farm. |
 Tammy Wallace - Chief Financial Officer
Tammy joined PSW in 2003 as office manager. Tammy’s area of responsibilities includes all accounting, information technology and special projects coordinator for all three offices. She earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)designation in 2006. Tammy and her husband, Jessie, are the proud parents of two children, Leslie and Clay. |
